Alexandra Maria Lara was born in Romania. She's now a Romanian/German actress. Her best-known films include Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. She was the sole children to Romanian actress Valentin Platareanu, Alexandra got into the showbiz world early and was acting in lead roles on various shows on television by the time she turned 16. The audience was impressed by her performance on Der Tunnel. This paved the way for other unforgettable performances, like Adolf Hitler's secretary of state Traudl Junge.
