Alexandra Maria Lara is a Romanian-German film and television actress popular for her work in film productions such as Downfall Youth Without Youth Control and Rush. Alexandra was the only daughter of Romanian actor Valentin Platareu. When she was 16, she had already secured a number of TV roles such as the lead role in the movie Downfall Youth With No Youth Control. She was praised for her part as a character in Der Tunnel. This paved the way to other memorable role roles like Adolf's secretariat Traudl Junge. The Reader, Der Baader Meinhof Komplex and The Reader are also Oscar-nominated movies featuring this model. Alexandra participated in several well-known worldwide and national productions over the years. The most notable of these include British biographical films Control Greek drama film The Dust of Time and French history mini-series Napoleon and many more.
